Welcome to my website.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to meet you and so many other people from around the world.  I feel blessed to be living and working in such an exciting technological age.

I feel I was born to be a designer/decorator/ antique dealer. After graduating with a four-year degree in psychology, I went to work in industry for a few years before finding my calling. My travels have taken me to Paris, France where I rented an apartment for 3 years. My apartment was located on the sixth floor and there was no elevator, but I had the great pleasure of watching the sun set behind the Eiffel Tower most nights. Here I lived the life of a French "antiquaire". I went to the flea markets at 4:30 a.m. with my flashlight and attended auctions on a daily basis. I became proficient regarding the "ins and outs" of the French antiques system.
While living in France, I discovered the French appreciated our American quilts. I then began to organize auction sales of vintage American quilts in Paris, France. I now hold the title of "Expert" for American quilts in the French auction system

I learned more about living and life while in France. Americans know how to work, but the French know how to live and enjoy life. I miss lingering over 2 hour lunches, biting into a piece of chocolate cake that really tastes like chocolate, and the artistic presentation of the most mundane things.
I have been thinking about sharing my knowledge of France and the French antiques business with a few clients. Perhaps, acting like a mentor to a few who would like to purchase antiques in France and experience French life, French food and the French auction system, etc.

Back here in the States, I have just completed (well, almost) the 27 year project of restoring my 19th c. home.  I am happy and proud to report that it has recently been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Naturally, it is furnished with French and American folk art, 19thc. dolls,  American quilts and French boutis.  My home has been featured in several magazines, the last being Country Living Holidays, 1998, where my antique Christmas collection was pictured.

Good quality and artistic design are important to me and you will find them reflected in the antiques I sell.  After 25 years in the antiques business, I have accumulated a lot of knowledge.  I am happy to share it with you.  I welcome your emails, telephone calls and faxes.
